28th Global Supply Chain ISLI Forum

Bordeaux Event completed

For the 28th year, students from the ISLI Programme organize this must-attend Supply Chain event entitled: “Emerging Challenges in a Complex Future”

Unique meeting place and crossroad for ideas and discussions on the evolution of supply chain, the Forum gathers every year more than 300 international supply chain leaders. New challenges, technology evolutions and new consumption models are discussed based on a rich program of conferences and round tables including:

Round tables :

Green Loop Supply Chain Implementation

A green loop supply chain takes into account direct flows, from raw materials to the finished product, but also reverse flows, ie the return of products under warranty, unsold products, end of life or waste. Its creation saves resources, reduces environmental pollution, improves productivity, and creates value across the chain. Its implementation is therefore crucial in a context of scarcity of raw materials and awareness of the human impact on the environment. To implement this loop, five questions must be taken into account: who? what? when? Why ? how? Through various testimonies, this round table proposes to answer them.

Startups’ Effects on Supply Chain Innovation

Increasing recognition of the importance of a well-designed Supply Chain, combined with huge advances in technology, make Supply Chain a fertile field for innovation. Startups integrated or non-integrated in a supply chain organization could play an important role in innovation dissemination. Who are the leading innovators, and how are they affecting supply chain performance? How to integrate startups in supply chain models? How to integrate startups in supply chain models?

New Urban Supply Chain in Smart Cities

The urban community requests more customized products and efficient supply chain solutions. The context of future sustainable smart cities will give new opportunities for supply chain to reinvent city organization. How companies and stakeholders will tackle these challenges? The roundtable will give an insight on new business models evolved and strategic trends for urban supply chains in new cities. The speakers will discuss latest developments and challenges when implementing collaborative supply chain solutions in cities.

Toward Digitalization of Maritime Supply Chains

It is time to reconsider the world of maritime supply chain and to find ways to overcome current and future challenges. Information technology is the base and digitalization is the key.
