Study in France: requirements

If you wish to study business and obtain your degree in France, you will have to take care of some administrative formalities such as visa/permit application. There are different visa requirements for international students in France, depending on your nationality:

European students are not required to apply for a visa: You do not need a student visa to study in France if you are a citizen of a European Economic Area (EEA) state (EU plus Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein) or Switzerland. Regardless of the length of your studies, you are free to stay on the French territory.

If their stay does not exceed 90 days, nationals of certain non-European countries are not required to get a student visa. For additional information on this topic, see the article.

The short stay student visa: Even if your stay in France is for less than three months, you might need to get a student visa if you are not a national of a European Economic Area state or of Switzerland, depending on your country of residence.

The long stay student visa: If you want to study, conduct research, or do an internship in France for more than three months and you are not a citizen of a European Economic Area country or Switzerland, you must apply for a long stay visa.
