Angie Ramirez-Villamil currently works as Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Operations Management and Information Systems and the Sustainability Center of Excellence. She obtained her PhD in Business Administration and in Logistics and Supply Chain Management under a double degree agreement between KEDGE Business School, France and Universidad de La Sabana, Colombia in 2024. Angie also holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s in Process Design and Management, both from Universidad de La Sabana, where she was awarded with highest honors. Her research interests include Urban Logistics, Multimodal Transportation, Last-Mile Delivery, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research and Combinatorial Optimization. With over five years of experience in developing research projects in the framework of simulation and optimization of urban logistics systems, her work also involves designing scenarios to achieve sustainability in urban logistics operations through the inclusion of multimodal transportation.
