KEDGE Business School: How to apply?

What are the prerequisites for enrolling in one of our programmes at KEDGE as an international student? Here, you'll find information about our courses, eligibility criteria, admissions process, and the support available to you.

 As an undergraduate student, you have 2 options:

A 4-year bachelor’s degree offering students a minimum of 2 years spent abroad and a year of professional experience.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Entry in year 1 after your final year studying for a High School Certificate.
  2. Entry in year 3 after completion of 2 years of higher education.

The ideal candidate would have a vocation for international business, a good level of English and a 2nd foreign language.

Admission to the 1st year

For non-French-speaking students living abroad who are in their final year of high school, preparing for the High School Certificate, IBA, National Baccalaureate, or an equivalent qualification.

  • Academic transcripts from the last 2 years of high school
  • A copy of your high school diploma (if already awarded)
  • A copy of your passport or ID card
  • A CV
  • Proof of English proficiency: minimum IELTS score of IELTS (5.5) / Duolingo (95) / PTE (36) 
  • Optional: Additional supporting documents (e.g. academic recommendation letters)
  • Application fee: €120. Before submitting your online application, you will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee. Payment must be made online by credit card at the time of submission. Your application will not be considered complete until the fee has been received. Please note that the application fee cannot be transferred to future applications at KEDGE Business School.

Admission to the 3rd year

  • Applicants will be assessed based on a motivation file, which evaluates both academic level and personal motivation. Particular emphasis is placed on international experience and perspective.
  • Required English scores :  IELTS 6 / TOEFL IBT 74 / TOEIC 660 / Duolingo (105)/ PTE (46)
    Please note: A score of 6.5 IELTS/ 79 TOEFL IBT / 550 TOEFL/ 785 TOEIC  is required to complete the IBBA programme and obtain your diploma
     
    Admission:
    You will receive four motivational questions to be answered in English and submitted to the jury before your interview.
    Oral test: A motivational interview conducted in English.

HOW DO I APPLY?

A 2-year Master’s degree designed around three key components of KEDGE’s key strategy: entrepreneurship, tech management and common good.

ELIGIBILITY

You can integrate the course after an international bachelor's degree, with at least 2 years of higher education undertaken outside of France.

ONLINE APPLICATION

A registration fee of €120 is required. Before finalising your online application, you will be asked to pay the non-refundable application fee. This fee can only be paid online by credit card at the time of application submission. Your application will not be considered complete until we receive this fee. Please note, this fee cannot be credited towards any future applications at KEDGE Business School.

You can expect a response within a maximum of 10 days.

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS & TESTS

  • A letter of recommendation.
  • English language proficiency certificate: TOEFL > 550 / TOEIC > 785 / IBT > 80 / IELTS > 6 / Duolingo (105) / PTE (46).

RECOMMENDED TESTS

ONLINE INTERVIEW

A 30-minute interview is required for all applicants, regardless of nationality or location. Once your application is processed, you will receive an email from KEDGE to arrange your interview.

IMPORTANT: We recommend applying as early as possible due to the visa procedure duration.

Admission is based on an evaluation of your application and a Teams interview.

As a postgraduate student, you have the following options:

Our specialised postgraduate Master of Science programmes are taught entirely in English and are open to international students.

ELIGIBILITY

Short Track (4 years + of higher education):

  • Level of studies: M1 completed, or an International Bachelor's degree (Bac+4), or an equivalent of 240 ECTS credits,
  • Level of English : TOEIC (785) / TOEFL IBT (79) / IELTS (6) / Cambridge First (160) (B2) / Cambridge Advanced (180) (B2) / Duolingo (105) / PT Pearson (50) / Linguaskill (169) - exemption for native English speakers or applicants with at least one year of work experience in an English-speaking country. 

Long Track (3 years + of higher education):

  • Level of studies: 3 years of higher education attested by a diploma or an equivalent of 180 ECTS credits,
  • Level of English: Language score is optional to enter the Long Track, but compulsory to enter the specialisation year of the MSc.

Validation of Personal and Professional Experience (VAPP)

You would like to resume your studies by integrating our MSc, Master of Science even though you do not have the diplomas normally required to access it? The Validation of Personal and Professional Experience (VAPP) allows people who does not have the required qualifications or diplomas to access the different levels of higher education. Find out more about the conditions required.

HOW TO I APPLY?

  1. Complete the online application form starting by creating an account. You will be prompted to pay a non-refundable 120€ registration fee.
  2. Submit your application form.
  3. Await our response. It will be reviewed by the KEDGE admission team within 10 days.
  4. Pay the application fee.

The selection period will end once the programme has filled its quota of new students for the upcoming intake. Therefore, it is recommended to submit your application as early as possible during this selection period.

KEDGE PhD Programme (Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration) offers scholars the opportunity to become future faculty members in leading international business schools and universities. During their study, PhD students undertake research projects leading to academic publications. The course normally lasts three to four years of full-time study and consists of two phases: time dedicated to the completion of doctoral studies and time dedicated to providing teaching and research support.

ELIGIBILITY

A Master’s degree is expected in order to apply as well as full English proficiency. In addition, candidates will be selected on the basis of their CVs, academic references, and interviews with their potential supervisor.

b. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
c. Proposal of a potential thesis topic (please [click here] to download our general guidance document on how to write a research proposal)
d. Grade transcripts of your MA and BA degrees
e. A PDF copy of your MA thesis or another research-oriented piece of work (e.g. BA thesis, seminar papers, etc.). This must be single-authored.
f. At least one reference letter

Only applications received by email before the deadline will be considered.

In the subject line of your email, please clearly state your surname and the Centre of Excellence you are applying to, for example: "PhD Application, Smith, Marketing"

If you wish to apply to two Centres, please send two separate emails.

KEDGE offers several short-term programmes in specific fields:

  • International Summer schools (June - July): You have the choice between the Digital Summer School offering flexible programmes that allows you to follow different thematic packages and the International KEDGE Summer School in the campuses of Paris or Marseille offering you the opportunity to build your own programme according to your interests, needs, timing and budget.
  • International Winter school (January):An immersive programme dedicated to Technologies, Management and Innovation over the course of a 2-week period. You can take 1 course or both as part of the package. This is an online led class divided between asynchronous and synchronous sessions.
  • Tailor-Made & Faculty Led Programmes: KEDGE is available to offer a tailor-made programme specifically designed to meet the needs of your institution/university/college. We are here to make your international programme a reality.

ELIGIBILITY

 Highly motivated and open-minded Bachelor or Master level students in good academic standing with a sufficient level of English.

REQUIREMENTS

Pre-requisites

Students can study at KEDGE from the second year of their Bachelor's degree up to the second year of their Master’s degree.

If you wish to take courses taught in English, you must demonstrate a minimum level of B2, or provide a valid score from one of the following tests:

- TOEFL iBT: minimum 79
- TOEFL (paper-based): minimum 550
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- TOEIC: minimum 785

If you wish to attend courses taught in French, you will have to prove a level of at least B2 thanks to a document provided by KEDGE.

Mandatory documents

When you have filled in the required personal information on the application, we will ask you to upload a list of documents:

  • A copy of a valid passport (for both EU and non-EU students) or a copy of your national identity card (EU students only)
  • A certificate of academic level (provided by KEDGE), completed and stamped by your home university
  • A certificate of English proficiency (provided by KEDGE), completed and stamped by your home university
  • A certificate of French proficiency (provided by KEDGE), completed and stamped by your home university — only required if you intend to take courses taught in French
