Daria Tsukanova has a PhD in Information and Communication Sciences and is a certified translator, interpreter and legal expert at the Bordeaux Court of Appeal. She has academic and professional experience in communication, responsible management, and sustainable development. Having been based in France for over 15 years, she holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting (English–French–Russian) and two Master's degrees, one in Organisational Communication and the other in International Journalism. She has worked at UNESCO in the Knowledge Societies Division on projects related to ethics and sustainability in SMEs, and at the Bordeaux National Opera. For over a decade, she ran an intercultural association in Bordeaux focusing on social entrepreneurship projects and small business development. Her research is based on participatory action research and creative methods such as design thinking. Her thesis focused on developing professional skills and intercultural sensitivity among expatriates, analysing 70 interviews. Her areas of expertise include: - Responsible and ethical management in organisations - Intercultural strategy and skills development - Action research and creative methodologies (design thinking).
