François Gambarelli is an Associate Professor in the Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development at KEDGE Business School. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences from Aix-Marseille University, and his doctoral research focused on entrepreneurship in the healthcare sector and the collective design of social innovations. He began his academic career at KEDGE as a research assistant at the Social Health Center, where he took part in applied research projects and taught courses in methodology, innovation, and management. He then joined Health for Development (H4D), a pioneering French company in the field of telemedicine, where he spent nearly eight years as Operations Manager and later Operations Director. In this role, he led the structuring and deployment of innovative teleconsultation services in France and internationally, managed relationships with major CAC 40 corporations and public authorities, and supported the company’s growth during its scale-up phase. During this period, he developed particular expertise in complex project management, data analysis applied to operational management, and the structuring of teams and processes in an entrepreneurial environment. In 2023, he returned to KEDGE Business School. His research and teaching primarily explore new forms of entrepreneurship, innovation, and the fundamentals of management.
