Issam Mejri is an Associate Professor of International Business at KEDGE Business School. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Côte d’Azur (France). He is also a Visiting Researcher at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, and has over 15 years of teaching experience in strategy and entrepreneurship across diverse audiences. His research focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation in emerging economies, with a particular interest in how institutions, networks, and resources—shaped by digital and sustainability transitions—drive entrepreneurial growth and competitiveness. He also explores family businesses, examining how trust, relational dynamics, and social capital foster transgenerational entrepreneurship and enhance long-term performance. He has published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Annals of Operations Research, Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility, The International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Global Business and Organizational Excellence, and Revue Internationale de la PME. His work contributes to scholarly debates on international entrepreneurship, family entrepreneurship, and the strategies of firms from emerging economies.
