PRESS RELEASE 27.11.2017

The KEDGE Business School Specialised Master's Programme in Wealth & Real Estate Management has been re-accredited by RICS for five years.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is the world’s leading body for property professionals. The KEDGE specialised Master’s programme in Wealth & Real Estate Management (IMPI) has been RICS-accredited since 2002 and has just had its accreditation renewed for a further five years. The IMPI is the only French training course to offer a dual specialisation in Wealth Management and Professionnal Real Estate, teaching postgraduate students who will be able to meet the demands of these two sphères (Real Estate listed company, Reits, etc.).

The renewal of our accreditation recognises the quality of our course and its suitability for the new real estate professions,” says Eric Pichet, lecturer at KEDGE and Director of the Specialised Master’s in Wealth & Real Estate Management (IMPI). “It is also a sign that the course is recognised for its values: professional competency, integrity and friendliness, which are the principles RICS promotes”.

This accreditation allows graduates of the specialised Master’s programme to apply to RICS straight after leaving school, without having to wait to have the 10 years of property experience that is usually required.

RICS was founded in London in 1868 and its royal charter was granted by Queen Victoria. It is an association of real estate professionals based in London’s Parliament Square. Its mission is to regulate and promote the real estate profession, maintain levels of excellence and professionalism amongst its members through continuous professional development and protect customers and consumers thanks to a strict code of ethics. There are around 110,000 RICS members around the world of whom 1,100 are in France. RICS France was created in 1991.

About the KEDGE specialised Master’s programme in Wealth & Real Estate Management (IMPI)

The IMPI course prepares students for careers in Wealth Management and in the new BtoB real estate professions. This specialised Master’s sandwich course provides solid, on-the-ground experience, makes it easy to find a job and gives students direct experience of real situations and issues faced by companies. All IMPI students sign a vocational training contract. The dual campuses in Bordeaux and Paris allow students to develop the feeling of a single class: after two months of intensive training at the Bordeaux campus, they then have classes taught by practising professionals at the Paris campus two to three days every fortnight, in parallel with their professional activity.
