Fatima Ezzahra ACHAMRAH

Fatima Ezzahra Achamrah is an Assistant Professor in MIS/AI at KEDGE Business School. She holds an MEng and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from CentraleSupélec – Université Paris-Saclay. Her academic and professional journey spans France, the United Kingdom, Morocco, and Belgium, at the interface of research, teaching, and pedagogical innovation. Before joining KEDGE, she held positions at the University of Sheffield, Mines Paris, HEC Liège, and General Electric (UK). Her research lies at the intersection of operations research, artificial intelligence, and interconnected logistics systems. She develops robust, adaptive, and learning-based approaches (machine learning, reinforcement learning) for supply chain optimization, system resilience, and the design of digital twins. Her work—conducted with industrial partners (e.g., NVIDIA, Unisys) and international academic collaborators—has been recognized with several awards, including UNESCO–L’Oréal Young Talents, EURO Young Women in OR, the Physical Internet Generation Award, and an honorable mention for the Université Paris-Saclay PhD Prize. In teaching, she is actively engaged in innovation through VR-enabled MOOCs, serious games, and immersive methods (e.g., LEGO-based learning), grounded in an inclusive and experiential approach. She holds the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching for Learning in Higher Education (PGCertHE) from the University of Sheffield (UK).
