An international competition
Each year Poets&Quants publishes its ranking of the 40 best MBA professors under 40 years old. To enter the competition, you must:
- Be 39 years old before 30/06/2021
- Be a full-time professor in an MBA programme
- Applications can be submitted by students, graduates, peers or members of the administration
- Unsolicited applications are also encouraged
The best professors are those who are recognised on a number of counts:
- First, they must have a real impact on their students
- Have a recognised influence as an impact on public policy
- Have a recognised impact in their field of research
- Hold various prestigious awards or nominations throughout their career
- Have a unique and recognised pedagogy
- Have an excellent professional reputation
A real distinction
With more than 1500 citations on Google Scholar, Alfredo Jimenez, a professor in international business and finance, is considered one of the most promising young professors in his field.
On this occasion, he was given an extensive interview about his life as a teacher of MBA students. He talked about what drove him to this career, what he is passionate about as a teacher, what he is passionate about in terms of research and what characterises his teaching style. Alfredo Jiménez holds a master's degree in applied research in business administration and a doctorate in business management. He is currently a professor at KEDGE Business School.
His research interests focus on the process and success factors in the internationalisation strategy of companies.
Alfredo also works on the management of virtual and multicultural teams.
He has published articles in international journals such as Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business and International Business Review and Harvard Business Review.
