A long-term vision shaped by responsibility
Founded in 1967, FM Logistic is an independent, family-owned company specialising in integrated supply chain solutions. The group supports major businesses across fast-moving consumer goods, retail, beauty and cosmetics, manufacturing and healthcare. In France alone, it employs 6,400 people across 40 sites, operates 1.8 million square metres of warehouse space and generates annual revenues of more than €650 million. The company has built its growth on a model designed to streamline flows and make better use of resources. It was also an early adopter of the “one roof” concept, consolidating several logistics operations under a single facility to cut down on transport movements and lower associated emissions. The group has set a target of neutralising 11,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year by 2030, supported by low-carbon infrastructure and a corporate culture grounded in performance and openness.
As chief executive, Jean-Christophe Machet has led this transformation at a time when supply chains are increasingly central to geopolitical, economic and environmental challenges. He also serves on the Executive Committee and Board of France Supply Chain by Aslog, contributing to strategic discussions on the future of the industry. His sponsorship comes at a time when sustainability, innovation and resilience are reshaping global supply chain models.
“As sponsor of this year’s cohort, I am particularly proud to support these talented students as they take their first steps into what is both a demanding and rewarding profession. For a family-owned company such as FM Logistic, passing on knowledge and experience is fundamental. It is through dialogue and shared insight that this commitment truly takes shape.”
