Jean-Daniel Beurnier is the founding chairman of Avenir Telecom, a company that designs and distributes mobile phone products on an international scale, which he listed on the stock exchange in 1998. He has been a member of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2008, and has considerable experience of the challenges of territorial integration, internationalisation and business transformation. In his new position, Jean-Daniel Beurnier's mission will be to continue the development of the School along the path of excellence and innovation to train the managers and leaders of tomorrow.
He takes over the presidency of one of the best French business schools with a sustainable business model and solid financial performance. He will be able to rely on the existing management team led by Alexandre de Navailles, General Manager of KEDGE Business School.
I am very happy and honoured to support KEDGE's ambitions as part of its KEDGE 25 strategic plan. As a passionate entrepreneur and convinced of the power of experiential learning, I will be committed to enhancing the school's undeniable expertise, supporting its international development and accompanying it in its transformation to meet the digital needs of today and tomorrow, while strengthening its territorial roots.
He succeeds Agnès Grangé, who has greatly contributed to strengthening KEDGE's strategy around its ambition to be the benchmark school for "those who learn and succeed by doing". Under her leadership, the school has strengthened its experiential pedagogy, its territorial roots and its global outlook, in a context of great transformation and digitalisation of higher education, strongly impacted by the current health crisis. KEDGE and its Board of Directors acknowledge her action in the service of the school's growth and reputation and thank her warmly.
