Strengthening a transatlantic partnership
As part of this new partnership, Todd Clark and André Cummings, Deans of Widener University Delaware Law School, visited KEDGE’s Paris campus to meet with KEDGE representatives and students and discuss opportunities to further strengthen collaboration between the two institutions.
The partnership marks a new step in KEDGE’s international development and reinforces the MSc Business Law’s commitment to preparing students for careers in an increasingly global and highly regulated business environment.
A new international opportunity for MSc Business Law students
Developing expertise across borders
The partnership with Widener University Delaware Law School gives students the opportunity to complement their KEDGE education with specialised legal studies in the United States.
Through this collaboration, MSc Business Law students may be awarded, on a merit basis, a scholarship to pursue an additional degree at Delaware Law School, extending their academic journey into the American legal system.
Students will have the opportunity to choose between two programmes:
- LLM in American Law, providing an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the US legal system and develop expertise in American law.
- Master of Legal Studies in Corporate and Regulatory Compliance, focusing on the legal and regulatory challenges faced by organisations operating in complex and international environments.
Building a strong transatlantic partnership
The visit to KEDGE Paris brought together Todd Clark and André Cummings with Céline Davesnes, Claire Attassi and Andra Cotiga, as well as MSc Business Law students.
The discussions highlighted the shared ambition of KEDGE and Widener University Delaware Law School to develop stronger academic connections and provide students with international learning opportunities at the intersection of business, law and compliance.
Preparing future legal and compliance professionals
Bridging business law and compliance
The partnership is closely aligned with the objectives of KEDGE’s MSc Business Law, which combines business law, responsible business conduct and compliance to prepare students to address the legal, ethical and regulatory challenges faced by international organisations.
The programme already places strong emphasis on international business law, corporate and financial law, commercial contracts, intellectual property, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering, as well as emerging areas such as AI and blockchain regulation.
The new collaboration with Delaware Law School adds a valuable US legal perspective, enabling students to broaden their understanding of international legal frameworks and strengthen their ability to operate across jurisdictions.
From Paris to the United States
Studying the MSc Business Law at KEDGE means developing legal and business expertise in an international environment. Delivered entirely in English at KEDGE’s Paris campus, the programme prepares graduates for careers in corporate legal departments, consulting firms, institutions and multinational organisations.
The new partnership with Widener University Delaware Law School further expands this international dimension by giving high-achieving students the opportunity to pursue specialised legal studies in the United States.
