Settling in at KEDGE
Laura Melissa was greeted at a welcome reception with the Master of Science team, the international office, welcome services and admissions staff. She was also given a welcome pack, with her student mentor, Manon Jacob, helping her settle in on campus. Over the year, she will benefit from dual support: Manon on the student side and Camila Roa, a KEDGE staff member, as her second mentor. This personal approach reflects the school’s commitment to helping international students feel at home.
“I have felt truly welcomed at KEDGE. I really value the wide range of services available to new students, especially the administrative guidance and accommodation support, which enabled me to secure a CROUS apartment close to campus. This is my first time living abroad for an extended period, it has been very reassuring to feel so well looked after. As I begin the programme, I am genuinely excited and look forward to building even more connections, just as I already have since arriving.”
Shaping futures through the Eiffel scholarship
The Eiffel excellence scholarship, managed by Campus France on behalf of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, is one of the most competitive awards in France. In 2025, only 370 master’s students were selected from more than 1,300 applications. Alongside a monthly allowance, the scholarship covers housing, insurance, travel and cultural activities, helping recipients settle quickly and focus on their studies.
With a BBA and solid professional experience in marketing already behind her, Laura Melissa chose KEDGE to strengthen her expertise and specialise in brand management. She first secured a place on the MSc Marketing before working with KEDGE on her scholarship application, which set out her academic and career goals. The school’s support enabled her candidacy to be put forward and successfully awarded.
Her arrival reflects the school’s ambition to attract and nurture outstanding international talent, in line with its global strategy.
