KEDGE welcomes its international students for the 2025 academic year

07/10/2025
The 2025–2026 academic year at KEDGE opened with a distinctly international focus, as hundreds of students from around the world joined the Bordeaux and Marseille campuses.

By the end of August, KEDGE had welcomed 332 students to its Bordeaux campus and 206 to Marseille. New arrivals continue to join the community each week, with numbers expected to reach 460 in Bordeaux and 297 in Marseille. The induction programme offered a rich and well-structured introduction to life at KEDGE, reflecting the school’s academic excellence, international outlook and strong commitment to student support - qualities recognised by the 3-star “Bienvenue en France” label.

A comprehensive and tailored integration programme

At KEDGE, welcoming an international student goes beyond simply opening the doors of a campus: it is about providing the best possible conditions for success from day one. To this end, the school has put together an integration week with a series of key activities:

  • Exploring the region and cultural immersion: guided tours by bus, train, on foot, or by boat in Marseille and Bordeaux, helping students familiarise themselves with their new urban, cultural, and heritage environment.
  • Tailored administrative support: sessions covering essential procedures (visa applications, health insurance registration with CPAM, housing allowance applications, completion of the student record) to help students settle in and handle administration smoothly.
  • Academic and student life introductions: meetings with academic teams, associations, and campus community members to understand programme specifics and join the dynamic KEDGE community.
  • Survival French (FLE) courses: practical lessons designed to help students quickly gain autonomy in daily communication.
  • Intercultural seminar: an innovative programme helping students adapt to cultural differences.

Academic excellence and international community at the heart of success

This integration week reflects KEDGE’s strategic vision: combining academic excellence with a strong collective spirit. By merging these two dimensions, KEDGE provides its international students with an immersive and enriching experience, preparing them to thrive in demanding global environments and to actively contribute to impactful collaborative projects.
