KEDGE Business School expands footprint with new Indian associated campus

25/08/2025
KEDGE Business School has announced the launch of a new associated campus in India, strengthening its international network through a partnership with Vijaybhoomi University and the Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM). The campus, located in Karjat – around 60 miles from Mumbai – adds to KEDGE’s presence in Asia, where it already operates associated campuses in Suzhou and Shanghai.

A rising academic hub

Set against the backdrop of the Western Ghats, the Karjat site offers a quiet, green setting within easy reach of India’s financial capital. The collaboration between KEDGE, Vijaybhoomi University and JAGSoM reflects a shared commitment to global outlook, hands-on learning and local impact.

Students will have access to modern classrooms, specialist laboratories, creative studios, sports facilities and residential amenities. The programmes on offer have been designed to meet the demands of the Indian market while aligning with international academic standards.

A strong initiative for students and the local community

With one of the world’s largest student populations, India faces pressing challenges in higher education. By working alongside locally rooted institutions, KEDGE aims to foster long-term academic cooperation that benefits both students and the wider region.

The partnership is underpinned by three pillars: internationalisation, strong ties with business communities - both local and abroad - and a focus on entrepreneurship through incubators, mentoring and professional training initiatives. Courses are designed to combine real-world experience with individual support, ensuring graduates acquire both technical expertise and soft skills needed in a global economy.

International pathways

The Mumbai campus will welcome its first intake in 2025 with the KEDGE Bachelor in Business Administration programme. From 2026, a portfolio of MSc degrees will follow, including sports management, creative industries, entrepreneurship, luxury, sustainable transformation and design.

All courses will be taught in English and will include a range of pathways between India and France: a full four-year programme in India, a 2+2 track (two years in India, two in France), a 3+2 model, and a 4+1 option. Teaching will be complemented by contributions from KEDGE faculty in France, delivered both in person and online.

Mumbai becomes KEDGE’s fifth associated campus worldwide, joining Shanghai, Suzhou, Dakar and Abidjan. The new site marks another step in the school’s ambition to deliver world-class education tailored to local contexts and international opportunities.
