After graduating with a double MSc in European and International Studies/International Business, as well as a PhD in Management Sciences, Ni Gao joined KEDGE Business School in 2012 as a research assistant. Her research work focuses on different topics related to intercultural management, including internationalisation of companies, international leadership, Chinese companies and globalisation, human resources, and corporate social responsibility.
In 2016, Ni Gao became a guest speaker and later an associate professor in international management and strategy, primarily teaching in English for undergraduate programmes such as the Master in Management, KEDGE Bachelor, EBP International, and the MSc International Business. She then took over as the head of the management department at KEDGE Business School in 2022 and served as the academic coordinator for the MSc International Business programme in Paris.
In her new role, she will be working with Kambiz Zaré and Mehdi Amiri Aref, academic coordinators of the programme in Marseille and Paris, respectively. She aims to further develop the strategic objectives of the MSc, including:
- Emphasising internationalisation with a global and cross-functional perspective on management in a multicultural context, focusing on the complexities and opportunities of the global economy.
- Strengthening the responsible dimension by offering courses based on sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
- Promoting practical education, including export market research, analysis of company cases, field visits in the region, and international internships.
- Enhancing students' employability through six different specialisation tracks, allowing graduates to access a wide variety of careers in the field.
