An international experience in Bordeaux
For Laura Melissa, studying abroad had long been an important goal. France stood out as a destination offering both academic opportunity and cultural richness: “I really wanted to have an international experience. I think France has a lot of possibilities for students. It's a really interesting country in terms of economy, culture, food, landscapes, and history, it's really nice.”
Since arriving at KEDGE, she has gradually found her footing thanks to the school’s support services dedicated to international students. Administrative assistance, housing support and campus initiatives helped ease the transition to life in France. Today, Laura Melissa is fully embracing the experience, both academically and personally as she continues to discover the country and build friendships within the international student community: “I have really been enjoying this experience, meeting new friends, travelling and getting to know the French culture better!”
Scholarships opening doors to study in France
Awarded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and administered by Campus France, the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship is one of the most prestigious funding programmes available to international students wishing to pursue graduate studies in France. Highly selective, the programme recognised only 370 master’s students in 2025 from more than 1,300 applicants. Alongside a monthly allowance, the scholarship provides comprehensive support including accommodation, insurance, travel and cultural activities.
For Laura Melissa, receiving the scholarship was both a surprise and a major opportunity: “I knew that the Eiffel scholarship was very exclusive: I didn't even think I would be considered. The scholarship is a big weight off my chest: I'm able to cover my expenses here, to travel, cover my medical issues.”
The Eiffel programme is part of a wider ecosystem of funding opportunities available to international students pursuing studies in France. At KEDGE, many scholarships and financial support schemes help talented students from around the world access its programmes.
