From 9th to 13th of March 2017, 45 students of the MSc Transport, Maritime - International Logistics and Trade had the privilege of traveling to the Netherlands to discover the port of Rotterdam, number 1 in Europe.

For these students in their second year of Master, it was essential to mark the end of their studies by this remarkable visit which will remain an exceptional souvenir of their studies in KEDGE.

Accompanied by their program director Elisabeth JOUANNAUX, they participated in several conferences within the tower of the Rotterdam’s port authority.

Donald Baan, Sr. Logistics Business Manager, made a presentation about the Rotterdam Logistics Lab community which is an exchange for real time data across the container value chain. Arwen Korteweg, Program Manager Barge introduced the Hinterland strategy with a focus on sustainability in transport.

This experience has been very enriching. Not only did they have the opportunity to visit one of the world's largest ports, but they also had the chance to discover Rotterdam and Amsterdam under a sunny sky throughout their trip.

After enjoying a guided bus tour of the terminals, they also explored the port of Rotterdam by boat to top it off.
