José Milano appointed Deputy Director General of KEDGE Business School
The Chairman of KEDGE Business School’s Board of Directors, François Pierson, and its Director General and Dean, Thomas Froehlicher, are pleased to announce the appointment of José Milano as Deputy Director General of the KEDGE BS Group, reporting to the Director General.
José Milano joined KEDGE on 1 January 2016 as Associate Director General with responsibility for corporate development. Among other things, he managed the process resulting in the strategic plan, establishing guidelines for the KEDGE until 2020.
Since his appointment as Associate Director General (Transformation and Development) on 1 September 2016, he has been responsible for the deployment of this strategic plan. The complexity of this task requires the successful management of all operational fields necessary to the School’s transformation.
"This delegation of management duties should enable us to achieve the optimal distribution of responsibilities within the KEDGE Business School group. The challenges and the size of the group have made the responsiveness of the group’s senior management all the more important,” explained Thomas Froehlicher, KEDGE Business School’s Director General and Dean.
Aged 46, José Milano is a graduate in economics and management from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in organisational sociology from the IEP Paris, a postgraduate diploma in international economic law, and a postgraduate qualification in business law from Paris-I University, in addition to a certificate of proficiency to practice as a lawyer from the Paris Bar Association.
From 2012 he was Social Affairs Director for the Fédération Française des Sociétés d’Assurances (French Federation of Insurance Companies - FFSA), before joining KEDGE Business School in January 2016. He previously held numerous positions in the Human Resources Department at the AXA Group and AXA France and was Human Resources Manager and General Secretary at AXA Group Solutions, where he was also a member of the executive committee.
