Masterclass: Sustainable financing, from origination to distribution

Laurence Ribot and Adrian Ramon, both experts from Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking will discuss the topic of sustainable financing, from origination to distribution during a masterclass held on 11th April, 2023 at 6pm.

Overview of the programme

The objective of this masterclass is to provide attendants with an update on sustainable finance markets (loans and bonds) commenting on key trends driving the market, in order to present structuring principles for sustainable financing instruments (Green and Sustainability-Linked) as defined by the international capital market association (ICMA) and the loan market association (LMA), to describe the rapidly evolving regulatory context in the European Union.
Our focus is on regulations that impact investors, such as sustainable finance disclosure regulation (SFDR) and corporate sustainability reporting directive (CSRD). Naturally, an introduction to Natixis Green and Sustainable Hub range of services, from origination to distribution of sustainable financing instruments, is in order.

Why join the Sustainable Finance programme?

Luis Reyes-Ortiz, Sustainable Finance programme Director : 'Finance is an indispensable tool in society, with objectives of profitability, performance, stability, and many others. However, considering social and environmental challenges, it must now evolve to understand them and propose solutions. The purpose of the Sustainable Finance Master of Science (MSc) programme is to train financial professionals with a vision of social and environmental responsibility, which is transmitted to the companies/organisations in which they are employed with a high level of performance.'
