Dr Lutz Preuss is Professor of Strategic Management at Kedge Business School, Bordeaux, France. He earned his PhD at King’s College London. Prior to joining Kedge, he held professorial appointments at the University of Sussex and the University of East Anglia, in addition to junior positions at Royal Holloway University of London, Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh and the University of Reading. His research focusses on managerial cognition in the context of tensions between economic and non-economic aspects of business, the application of paradox theory to management, international differences in corporate social responsibility, the adequacy of corporate responses to scandals as well as responsible management education. His work has been published in leading academic journals, such as Academy of Management Review, Organization Studies, Journal of World Business, Business Ethics Quarterly and Journal of Business Ethics. He currently serves on the board of the International Association for Business in Society (IABS).
