Natalia Yakovleva is a Professor of Strategy and Sustainability at KEDGE Business School. Natalia is the Head of the Centre of Excellence for Sustainability at KEDGE. She has a PhD in Environmental Studies and a BSc in Economics. Prior to KEDGE, Natalia held academic positions at Newcastle University, Surrey University, Winchester University, and Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. Natalia's research interests include sustainable development, circular economy, international business, and corporate social responsibility. Currently, she pursues qualitative research in Brazil, Ghana, India, and Russia, examining sustainability in food, extractives, and waste sectors. Natalia has published in the Journal of World Business; Journal of Business Ethics; International Journal of Production Research; and Environment and Planning C. Natalia is an editor of Routledge Handbook of Extractive Industries and Sustainable Development. Natalia welcomes PhD applications in the areas of plastic waste recycling and upcycling; phasing out single-use plastics; innovation for circular economy; sustainability in the minerals industry/ nickel industry; and other topics in the field of sustainability and international business.
