Networks

The CESIT is part of the different networks related to the supply chain: clusters, competition centres, associations, committees, etc. Our experts are active and visible to the professionals with whom we build various types of collaborative efforts, including coaching, training and research, assistance with strategy implementation, and/or help gaining a specific expertise.

Professional and institutional partners

  • The International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME), which has over 500 members across all continents and over 20 member companies. The IAME organises annual conferences presented by different institutions every year and it sometimes supports other conferences related to the association’s mission. Professor P. Cariou was vice president of the association from 2014 to 2016;
  • PortEconomics is an online-based initiative that aims to generate knowledge about maritime ports. It is developed and supported by members of the PortEconomics group that actively participates in university and contractual research efforts regarding the port economy, its management, and the policies that govern it. Professor P. Cariou is a founding member of the research group.
