Company Days: industry partners meet MSc MAI students at KEDGE

16/03/2026
In February and March, students from the MSc MAI Global Purchasing & Innovation Management took part in the programme’s “Company Days”, a series of sessions where leading partner companies shared insights into their procurement strategies and challenged students with case studies drawn from real business situations.

Industry partners at the heart of the programme

This year’s edition welcomed several partner companies, including Air France, Reckitt, Henkel, Kraft Heinz, L’Oréal, Lactalis and Chanel. During the sessions, company representatives introduced their organisations, outlined their activities and brand strategies, and discussed the major shifts currently reshaping their industries - particularly the growing importance of environmental transition and digital transformation.

Real-world case studies

A central part of the Company Days involved hands-on case studies proposed by the partner companies. Based on real challenges faced within their organisations, these exercises invited MSc MAI students to step into the role of decision-makers. Working in teams, students analysed the different situations and developed strategic recommendations, taking into account factors such as cost constraints, industrial considerations and supply chain challenges. Their proposals were then presented directly to the company representatives.

Learning through industry experience

These sessions gave students a valuable opportunity to engage directly with professionals and gain deeper insight into the expectations of today’s leading organisations. They also highlighted the evolving nature of procurement and innovation functions, shaped by sustainability challenges, digitalisation and the growing role of artificial intelligence.

For MSc MAI students, the Company Days offer a clear illustration of the programme’s immersive approach to learning, allowing them to work on real industry issues throughout their studies while developing the strategic and analytical skills required in today’s global business environment:

We had a unique opportunity to take part in a truly dynamic networking and recruitment experience, combining informal exchanges, business case challenges and afterwork events, where companies came directly to meet us with real opportunities. This event not only made it easier to secure internships and international placements, but also helped us build strong relationships with company teams, gain a better understanding of how they operate internally, and establish genuine trust. It allowed me to land my first job and kick-start my international career!
