First graduation ceremony of the Sino-French Institute in Management of Arts & Design (IMAD)

On June 22, 2024, the Sino-French Institute in Management of Arts and Design Management (IMAD), established by CAFA and KEDGE Business School, held its inaugural graduation ceremony.

The first CAFA students welcomed by KEDGE Arts School

The day's programme included:

148 students received their diplomas in the presence of Lin Mao, President of CAFA (Central Academy of Fine Arts), Olivier Perez, Campus France Manager at the French Consulate General in Shanghai, Elisabetta Magnaghi, Deputy Director General and Dean of KEDGE Business School: and Yu Ding, Dean of IMAD.

Elisabetta Magnaghi emphasised the significance of diplomatic relations between China and France, highlighting the graduating students' pivotal role in "innovating, leading with integrity, and making positive contributions to the development and promotion of culture in our society."

The graduation ceremony proceeded with an exhibition displaying the graduates' final projects, which had been prepared since mid-May. It featured research, reflections, and achievements in the fields of fine arts, art management, and design. the event culminated in a gala to mark its conclusion.

The faculty at KEDGE Arts School extends their congratulations to these promising graduates and wishes them success in their professional journeys within the arts, design, culture, and creative industries. Next year, we look forward to welcoming approximately fifty students to the MSc Arts & Creative Industries Management programme at our Paris campus and the MSc Creative & Design Management programme at our Marseille campus.
