KEDGE participates in a learning expedition dedicated to impact and regeneration
Over three enriching days, the students explored how to reimagine economic models in service of the common good, while developing the tools to help build a regenerative future.
Objectives of the expedition
• Gain insight into regenerative and impact-driven economic models
• Discover innovation hubs at the heart of Paris
• Engage with key actors in social and environmental transformation
• Transition from knowledge to action through hands-on project development
• In a world that challenges our long-held certainties and no longer places humanity at its core, this experience offered a much-needed and timely opportunity for reflection and action
Immersion in the Paris impact ecosystem
The students visited four emblematic locations:
- MakeSense Space – A vibrant incubator for social innovation, where they engaged with impact entrepreneurs and investors, explored methods of impact assessment, and discussed what it means to innovate for the common good
- Climate House – A regenerative hub uniting entrepreneurs, scientists, NGOs and citizens. Here, students co-created solutions alongside pioneers such as Ashoka (Elsa Da Costa), Peas’Up (Gaspard Brisac), and Poppins (Sybille Ranchon).
- Maison de la Conversation – A dynamic community space promoting inclusive dialogue and collective transformation through the power of meaningful conversation.
- Maison des Canaux – A living laboratory for circular and solidarity-based economy, showcasing responsible practices in construction, fashion, and local production.
Turning inspiration into action
This expedition was more than a learning experience, it was a call to action. In the second phase, students were invited to design their own impact projects on the societal and environmental issues they care about, under the expert guidance of Marilou Hiessler and Chloé Rodriguez Gouëdreau from MakeSense.
These projects will culminate in a final pitch session on 23 April 2025 at Césure (5th arrondissement, Paris), before a panel of professionals, impact leaders, and fellow changemakers.
Shaping the changemakers of tomorrow
Through this immersive and transformational journey, KEDGE reinforces its educational philosophy: to empower students as active contributors to a fairer, more sustainable and regenerative world.
Awarded the new programme launch award from Eduniversal 2024, the MSc Business Transformation for Sustainability at KEDGE empowers students to advocate for sustainability in business, develop comprehensive sustainability strategies relevant to today's challenges, and implement them across diverse spheres of influence.
