Study trips: Insights into our specialised programmes' student experience

The "study trips" are key to KEDGE Business School's specialised programmes, and illustrate the experiential teaching approach of the school. As in previous years, students of the digital marketing and international business programmes got to explore real-life current and future issues in their respective fields of study.

Digital marketing, international business: learning through experience and immersion

The MSc International Business programme took students to Brussels to better understand the European political institutions and one of the major players in the technology field. The MSc Digital Marketing & Sales programme travelled to the Var region, where students were introduced to the digital strategies of a number of high-profile organisations in the pharmaceutical, wine and tourism sectors.
The study trips allow for a comprehensive understanding of business practices through a rich programme - while at the same time strengthening the links between students, programmes and recruiters.

MSc International Business study trip

Programme

  • Visit to the European Commission's premises
  • Visit to the European Parliament
  • Lectures on current topics related to international business
  • Visit to IBM, American leader in the fields of computer hardware, software and services

Objectives

  • Understand the history of the Commission and the European Parliament
  • Find out how Europe's political bodies work and learn more about the European Union and its activities
  • Analyse the impact of legislation on trade in Europe and around the world
  • Understand the role of technology in society and the environment through the case of a market leader
  • To help clarify future career plans in light of a better grasp of international trade challenges, particularly in Europe
  • Explore the city of Brussels, the capital of Europe

MSc Digital Marketing & Sales study trip

Programme

  • Visit to Versity: the first metaverse for real estate created by "Les Agences de Papa", designed as an ecosystem for real time communication between the actors of real estate transactions
  • Visit to Arkopharma: international leader in the pharmaceutical industry and its entirely automated factory
  • Presentation of the group's digital strategy in a highly regulated and demanding market
  • Presentation of the communication to target audiences of Château Sainte Roseline: a wine estate in the Var region with AOP Côtes de Provence Cru Classé wines
  • Visit of the vineyard and wine tasting
  • Team building
  • Exploring the French Riviera, a unique cultural and natural site in the world

  • Witness the process of a fundraising event
  • Learn about the opportunities and constraints related to new legislation and tools
