16th edition of FIR-PRI Awards

FIR Awards were launched in 2005 to foster academic research in Finance and Sustainability topics. It promotes quality academic research and encourages broader disciplinary development of responsible investment scholarship and aims at building a network of researchers in this field.

FIR-PRI Awards « Finance & Sustainability » European Academic Research

In 2011, a partnership was formed between FIR Award and PRI to advance a joint programme. Among others, this partnership led to the development of an international resource database as well as coordination between the annual PRI Academic Conference and FIR Award Presentation.

Researchers and students with a European passport and/or affiliated with European research institutions may apply and are invited to submit Master Thesis, PhD Thesis, published articles, pedagogical innovations or grant proposals. Submissions may be accepted in French or English. Four awards: "Best Master’s Thesis", "Best PhD Thesis", "Best published Academic Article", "Best Pedagogical Innovation" valued at €5,000.00 each and one research grant (Only PhD) valued at €10,000.00 will be rewarded. The awards will honour the best researches in the field of responsible and sustainable finance. Each year, they reflect the plurality, the dynamism and the high quality of the research works published and produced for a finance serving the sustainability objectives.

A KEDGE academic director chairman of the FIR-PRI Awards

For the 16th edition of the European FIR-PRI Awards, Pr. Christophe Revelli, Head of KEDGE MSc Sustainable Finance and CANDRIAM/KEDGE "Finance reconsidered : Adressing Sustainable Economic development" chairholder, was nominated as jury chair.

In 2018, KEDGE won the award in the "Best Pedagogical Innovation" category for the MSc Sustainable Finance. Mélanie Comble (student from KEDGE PGE Master) won the prize in 2019 for the category “Best Master’s Thesis”, under the supervision of Pr. Christophe Revelli.
