Gradual Return to KEDGE campuses

19/01/2021
On its press conference on Thursday 14 January, the government announced that first-year students in Higher Education could, subject to changes in the health situation, return to campuses in small groups from January 25th.

We are going to look further into the scenarios of gradual resumption and are waiting for the circular issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research to validate them and share them with you.

Gradual return to our campuses

Since the beginning of January, several arrangements have been made to allow certain activities to take place on our campuses.

These activities are :

- The Associative Management Course,
- Practical work notably from the Kedge Design School in Marseille or the Kedge Wine School in Bordeaux,
- Serious Games simulation workshops and role-playing for certain specialised training courses,
- Pro-Acts for the Business Engineering and Bachelor programmes in Toulon,
- The activities of our incubators,
- Some Continuing Education programmes that require on-site pick-up.

At this stage, we remain in the perspective of reintroducing on-site teaching progressively from the beginning of February and for all populations subject to government directives that will be communicated to us. We are doing our utmost to enable you to return to the site, or for those whose material constraints do not allow it, to follow the courses in comodal mode (on-site and retransmitted courses).

These activities must be carried out in accordance with the conditions applicable to the curfew set from Saturday 16th January at 6pm.

Access to the campuses

We also continue to provide access to campuses and resource rooms for students who have connection problems, an unsuitable working environment or who suffer from isolation to follow online courses. Small groups of students, up to a maximum of 10 students, on convocation, can be accommodated for pedagogical support, projects and group work or in the event of difficulties in their mid-term results. These students should contact the Student Office on their campus to arrange for them to come on site.

Student Sponsorship

At the initiative of the Faculty and the Department of Pedagogy, a sponsorship system has been offered to Post Bac and Grande Ecole Programme students since the beginning of November 2020. This sponsorship is based on pedagogical support and methodological assistance for all individual and group work.
