Highlights from the L'Oréal "Meet the Pro" session

On 13th November, MSc Marketing students had the chance to attend a standout "Meet the Pro" session. The guest speaker, Kamel Medjabra, head of employer branding at L’Oréal, delivered an engaging and informative talk on the topics of employer branding and personal branding.

An inspiring career path

Kamel Medjabra’s diverse and ambitious career journey truly resonated with the students. A KEDGE Business School graduate himself, Kamel began his career at Toyota and Decathlon in a variety of roles before moving into his strategic position at L’Oréal. He also works as an independent consultant, offering his expertise in HR and brand strategy. His wide-ranging experience highlights the importance of building a strong personal brand and planning your career with intention. During his talk, Kamel shared valuable insights on how companies strengthen their employer brand to attract and retain top talent, while also emphasising the need for individuals to manage their own professional image. Using real-life examples and practical advice, he encouraged students to optimise their presence on professional networks and develop distinctive skills to stand out in today’s competitive job market. Beyond offering technical expertise, Kamel provided concrete tools to help turn their academic profiles into powerful professional assets.
