A new coronavirus
Certain regions of China (Wuhan, Hong Kong and Macao) are currently experiencing outbreak of pneumonia caused by a novel (new) coronavirus. This virus is similar to a severe case of the flu.
In an effort to contain the novel coronavirus, the Chinese authorities have suspended travel from Wuhan. Be aware that planned travel within China may be disrupted. Please remain vigilant and follow instructions given by local authorities and the French Government. Authorities are not, at this time, requesting repatriation. Students who wish to end their stay ahead of schedule, please inform your program and contact your insurance.

If you are currently in Wuhan:
- Avoid contact with sick people and large groups of people.
- Wear a face mask (mandatory)
- Avoid animals (alive or dead), animal markets, and products that come from animals (such as uncooked meat).
- Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Consult the CDC Website, or the Country’s Consulate Website for the most up-to-date information regarding enhanced screening procedures.
For students currently on exchange or even on an internship in China
For students currently in Wuhan :
a repatriation is being organized by the French government. The modalities of this are determined by the Consulate. If you are not French, please contact your country’s consulate.

o For all other students:
no repatriation is organised by KEDGE. We follow the recommendations given by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
If a student wishes to come back to France earlier, he/she should check with his/her private insurance, but also with his/her academic department
If this has not been done yet, he/she should register through his home country Department of State. French students should register on Ariane https://pastel.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fildariane/dyn/protected/accueil/formAccueil.html in order to be contacted by the French consulate.

If you have travelled to Wuhan and feel sick, you should:
- Seek medical care right away.
- Not travel while sick.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing.
- Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
If you were planning to travel to China:
