KEDGE Business School's MBA programmes receive renewed AMBA accreditation for 5 years

14/11/2022
First accredited in 2007, KEDGE Business School has just obtained the renewal of its AMBA accreditation for its Global Executive MBA. The AMBA (Association of MBAs), a British organisation, evaluates MBA programmes according to specific criteria relating to educational quality and governance. Already recognised for its Global Executive MBA which was rated one of the five best EMBAs in France by the Financial Times in 2022, KEDGE has now been unconditionally reaccredited to the highest international standards by the AMBA, for a maximum period of 5 years.

Through the renewal of this label of excellence originally held since 2017, KEDGE confirms its place in the prestigious circle of the top 1% of management schools in the world and the 16 French schools that hold triple certification from the most renowned international labels: AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA.

The evaluation criteria for AMBA accreditation assess the school's mission (values, policies), governance, strategic objectives, institutional environment and context, alliances and agreements established by the school, its faculty, research, students, and educational programmes.

Members of the AMBA Accreditation Committee praised the school's strong commitment to supporting the development of Ongoing Education and in particular its MBA programmes.

They also congratulated the teaching staff and faculty of KEDGE Business School for the high quality of academic and human support offered to the programme’s students.

The committee members highlighted the excellent profile of students selected from the school's MBA programmes, whether in France, China or West Africa, and noted that former students remained very committed to the programme and are actively involved in the alumni network.

The Alumni Association was also recognised by the committee for its dynamism and for the important role played by alumni in the governance and running of the school's programmes.

“The renewal of the AMBA accreditation is a great source of pride and motivation to continue to promote a management culture focused on sustainable societal impact. The AMBA accreditation, together with the work to reposition our Executive MBA towards the positive environmental and societal contribution of companies, has established KEDGE's MBA programmes as among the most attractive on the global stage”, explained Alexandre de Navailles, Director General of KEDGE Business School.
