KEDGE: an original, sustainable and inclusive school
With KEDGE Impakt, the school is deploying its action strategy for ecological and social transition around 3 pillars:
- Act for the planet
- Care for people
- Innovate for tomorrow
This strategy mobilizes the entire school and is infused transversally into teaching and research, experiential learning and associative projects, in conjunction with its stakeholders (students, employees, faculty, local/national and international partners).
Echoing the school's CSR commitment during the entrance exam period not to hand out any goodies to candidates coming for their orals, only a bio-sourced water bottle will be distributed to new students, in line with the "zero plastic water bottles" objective on our campuses. Students will also have access to an inclusivity glossary.
In addition to this action at the start of the school year, KEDGE has created two tools to measure the effectiveness of the actions implemented throughout the year to promote inclusiveness:
- an index to quantify diversity and inclusiveness at KEDGE, now and in the future
- a questionnaire to gauge the perception of inclusiveness among employees and students
"Care for People” : diversity as a source of inspiration, innovation and global performance
Because the start of the academic year is always a highlight, providing an opportunity to familiarize oneself with the upcoming course schedules, and to discover the school, its values and convictions, KEDGE wanted to make its new students aware of this issue from the very first day. KEDGE is committed to combating all forms of inequality and discrimination.
Our goal is to train future managers who promote diversity by combining an academic and experiential approach, and by giving everyone the opportunity to learn and develop within the KEDGE community, enriching it with their uniqueness. The school cares about the well-being of its community and is committed to training managers who understand social issues.
