An immersive journey through Bordeaux’s legendary wine scene
The programme will kick off with visits to some of Bordeaux’s most iconic locations, including La Cité du Vin, an essential stop to delve into the global heritage of wine. At KEDGE’s Talence campus, students will gain insights into the business and financial aspects of the wine industry through expert-led courses in wine economics.
One highlight of the immersion is a full-day visit to the celebrated vineyards of Saint-Émilion, where students will be guided by industry professionals and welcomed by local winemakers. These vineyard visits bridge classroom learning with the practical realities of winemaking, giving students a tangible understanding of the wine production process.
Focus on global wine markets and networking
The second week will shift focus to an in-depth look at international wine markets, guided by experts in global strategy. Networking opportunities are woven into the programme, giving students the chance to engage directly with professionals in the industry. A memorable evening at a wine bar run by a KEDGE alumni will provide a relaxed setting for students to connect and sample some of Bordeaux’s local wines.

This immersive Bordeaux experience is a cornerstone of the MSc Wine and Hospitality Management programme, blending classroom learning with hands-on exposure and professional networking. Engaging directly with industry leaders, students build essential skills for success in wine and hospitality, preparing them for the global opportunities and challenges of an international career in these fields.
