New lockdown: all courses in distant learning starting October 30

30/10/2020
Following the presidential address on Wednesday evening regarding the evolution of the health situation, we can no longer give access to our campuses for courses starting Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 8PM and for a minimum of 4 weeks. It is important that we can continue to provide our students with distance learning.

Therefore, from Friday, October 30th at 8 AM, all courses will switch to remote mode.

The teachers will get back to the students very quickly in order to communicate the different elements concerning their courses. They must check their Kedge mailboxes regularly. The teachers will communicate on this address.

In order to ensure this continuity, we have prioritized the possible options that the teachers will be able to favor:

  • The main choice is to privilege the LMS LEARN platform. Indeed, all courses are already registered in our system and our students are used to using it.
  • The use of Microsoft TEAMS is available with the Kedge account on Office 365.
  • Other solutions that teachers will want to use

Attendance at classes at the times defined in the schedule is MANDATORY. If the student is not in France, he must inform his teacher.

For international students who are in different time zones, the different modalities will be given by the teachers in order to fully benefit from the distance learning. The exams will also be in distance learning.

We are fully aware of the changes this will generate. We are committed to delivering the best pedagogical continuity in this very particular context. All the teaching teams are working towards this single goal.

Programmes and professors are doing their best to stay as close as possible to students during this period. Regular communications will be addressed as well as regular moments of exchange.
