Witness the new KEDGE Luminy campus taking shape

01/04/2021
To improve its quality standards in terms of innovation, infrastructure and quality of service, the Luminy campus has been undergoing an extension since 2018. The objective for KEDGE is to meet the expectations of its ecosystem and its positioning based on entrepreneurship, CSR and innovative teaching methods.

Brand new facilities

KEDGE Business School must constantly anticipate and adapt to new teaching methods. The Luminy campus facilities have hence been redesigned as stimulating workplaces with a strong technological edge. The new campus KEDGE in Marseille, which will be completed by the summer of 2021, provides for numerous new facilities with an extension of nearly 7,000m2 :

  • A new catering area on the ground floor
  • An integrated relaxation/sports area
  • A developed community life
  • 5 brain bubbles: spaces dedicated to collective reflection sessions
  • A digital exchange hub
  • 20 new classrooms
  • New incubator
  • A sheltered outdoor amphitheatre
  • 250 new lockers
  • 2200m² of outdoor space and 6 terraces spread over 6 levels

A project perfectly integrated into its natural surroundings

The campus KEDGE Marseille, which is located on the edge of the Calanques National Park, has been designed to respect this exceptional environment. Thus, the new architectural elements are in line with the Sustainable Mediterranean Buildings approach, integrate energy regulation systems, and include numerous plant elements (roof terraces, agoras, etc.).

This was driven by the desire to develop the site in a sustainable manner and to establish a continuity with the Calanques National Park. The renovation and extension programme thus completes the school's integration into the Luminy campus KEDGE in Marseille.
