A real incubator for new ideas and a springboard for start ups
“Within the programme, the Global Business Plan (GBP) enabled me to achieve my ambition of setting up a company specialising in 3D software programmes. It is a real incubator for new ideas and a springboard for start ups.”
A fantastic experience in a widely multicultural environment
“I entered the International Business programme with just the zest for challenge and desire to learn all I could and what followed was a fantastic experience in a widely multicultural environment. Team work with fellow classmates from different countries, lectures from professors with hands-on experience in incubation, geopolitics & consulting, study trips, courses through interactive gaming-like simulations etc., made the journey a true experience rather than just another academic curriculum. Dreams ahead, miles to go and very happy about the good start now.”
Enhancing employability
"This MSc offers both lectures on the fundamentals of marketing, and real study cases where you learn how to structure your communication and sell products or solutions effectively (covering topics such as brief writing, tender responses, identifying and assessing customer issues, events organisation, etc.). There are also master classes given by practising professionals, which enable students to develop a real and objective view of business realities, whether on the agency or the advertiser’s side. Finally, personalised coaching sessions enable students to enhance their employability, covering topics such as CV drafting with mentoring support from former graduates, individual and group interviews, identifying personal strengths and areas for improvement."
A solid technical foundation in marketing, communication and management
"The MSc Marketing & Brand Management allowed me to develop great creativity, a product sensibility and solid technical foundation in marketing, communication and management on the international scope. I am today the brand manager for the company JOG Swimwear. I am in charge of developing the Chinese market and I am working closely with 5 -star spa managers to develop partnerships. My integration into working life has been greatly facilitated by the professional dimension of the MSc. I keep excellent memories of my life in the Marseille campus and I’m still in touch with my school mates."
Develop a network
"What I remember most from the programme is the excellent relationship we had with faculty members, who provide lots of advice and support in the fields of business creation and business development. What with the Pro-Act assignments, internships, case studies and other events, I was able not only to get great training, but also to start building my personal network, which proved invaluable when I set up my own events company. I am now able to offer a marketing perspective on all event-related projects, as this MSc programme taught me how to analyse, understand and implement operations based on clients’ requirements."
The best option
"My year with the MSc programme proved decisive as it acted as a bridge between my academic training and my professional career. I was able to secure a permanent employment before actually graduating, which was a tremendous help. The Product Manager plays a critical role in a digital business: you have to be both creative, in order to design unique experiences for users, and data-driven to be able to measure the impact of actions taken. The MSc Marketing & Brand Management programme was definitely the best option for me."
A very hands-on approach of the professional and business world
"I chose the MSc Marketing programme because I wanted a vocational training with a very handson approach of the professional and business world. I was interested in events management so the association with ANAé was definitely an added value. Many of the lectures were given by practising professionals in the field of events management, which enabled me to develop a clear vision of business realities and display a very professional approach as soon as I started working."
It’s full of practical experiments, seminars, guest lectures and in the end industry visits
"KEDGE Business School in Marseille became my next study destination and the city became my next abode. New city, new education system was definitely a surprise initially for me as I spend all my previous years in my home country but this place and it’s people welcomed me with open hearts. I still remember my first day in France when I landed at the airport in Marseille provence and a team of students from my school came to pick me up. This support was extended to me for the entire year which in return is being offered by me to the future students. Education system is really challenging as it compels you to work in both groups & individually. It’s fully of practical experiments, seminars, guest lectures and in the end industry visits.
I met students from more than 10 nationalities in my class and professors from more than 30. I would be studying Marketing from a French professor but Finance from a Tunisian one. Operations was taught by somebody from Japan and let me assure you all of these elite professors are industry leaders and the knowledge they share with you is the real time one as they share their daily experiences with you in the class and not just something from the books which were written 30 years ago. Right after my ninth month during school, I got a job in Paris. I was a student of International Business majoring in International Marketing and today my job is exactly what I studied in school. I am working as a Country Manager to India for a french company based in Paris."
The strength of this programme is its network
This MSc year was a rewarding experience after spending my first two years in the programme Grande École in the Junior-Entreprise Marketing Méditerranée. During the first 6 months of my studies, I was able to deepen the theoretical knowledge that I started to study during my gap year (6 months Auditing Major Accounts, 6 months in M & A in a pharmaceutical company). The opportunity to work with students who have had various professional experiences, participation in ESG conferences and the quality of the teaching staff quickly improve my profile. I finished my programme with an internship in ECM. To date, I use the know-how and skills I learned during the MSc at BRED Banque Populaire on a daily basis in the transfer-transmission business with SMEs. I am still in touch with the members of my class and it is always a pleasure to meet and share our experiences
because the strength of this program is its network.”
Practical applications and research tools
“This MSc has developed my knowledge of finance theory with practical applications and research tools. The facilities and equipment used on the programme are of the highest standard, giving me access to the most innovative tools available. This includes a dedicated Reuters trading room facility and a range of databases. I have developed my knowledge and understanding of corporate finance, financial markets and how they impact on decision-making finance. The programme also contains a strong quantitative content with practical applications. As part of the programme, I had also the opportunity to complete the AMF Certification (French Financial Authority) – an industry-recognized professional qualification.”
