Three researchers from KEDGE at the European Academy of Management (EURAM) Conference
This year the European Academy of Management (EURAM) Conference was hosted at Trinity College Dublin between 14-16 June. Researchers from all around the world got together with the goal designated by EURAM: Transforming Business for Good.
As mentioned on the conference website: “As the survival of our planet and humanity itself are threatened by unsustainable business practice, never before have management scholars been placed in such an important role in society”.
Therefore, in the pursuit of a more sustainable future, three researchers from KEDGE, Marc OHANA, Eren AKKAN, and Togan KILIC, were present at a well-renowned conference where international academic conversations are shaped.
For three days, internationally distinguished names presented and debated their research projects and findings pursuing a sustainable transformation of the businesses.
The sessions were followed by keynotes speeches by some well-known names such as Mary Robinson, the former president of Ireland, UN High Commissioner and Adjunct Professor for Climate Justice at Trinity College Dublin, and David J. Teece, a Professor at the University of California, Berkeley who was listed as a “Distinguished Management Thinker” by Thinkers50 and has been cited over 180,000 times according to Google Scholar.
As an institution that highly regards sustainability as an important pillar for a better future, KEDGE continues to contribute to the academic research on sustainable business transformation as well as in its practices.
