Employability systems strenghtening

09/12/2020
In order to provide the best possible support for our students during this unique year and to help them towards employability, the Career Centre is stepping up its actions: one employability newsletter per week; for finding internships and jobs: the Job Teaser platform, the Career Centre France Facebook page, the Career Centre International Facebook page, Kedge Alumni, as well as individual support on request, not forgetting online appointments.

Every week, the Employability newsletter gathers tips & advice & the weekly planning.

Human resources workshops are offered to our students with specialists, as well as online meetings with our community. These workshops and meetings are participative to encourage learning and creativity. Distance learning has come to the forefront, and we want students to be actors and not just spectators.

Passed events

Some events were recently organised online:

  • Students were able to take part in a workshop on Teams " How to value experiences during a recruitment interview " with Jean-Pierre Perrin Serres, Consultant in Personal and Professional Development & founder of the Plénisphère company.
  • On Zoom, a workshop on"Help! I have no experience in my field of research" was proposed to them with Guylaine di Giorgio, HR Training Consultant.
  • At the same time, the workshop "developing self-confidence" with Véronique Pelletier on Zoom, HR Consultant, was also available online.
  • Students were also able to take part in the workshop "how to transform your LinkedIn profile and how to sell yourself" with Emmanuelle Petiot, Linkedin Specialist Coach.

Results of the virtual workshops

At this stage, we can make a positive assessment of these workshops. Indeed, student who are available at the end of the day are able to connect and learn more about these topics. Their feedback is very positive, they connect easily and some even ask to be coached individually. We give our students the opportunity to follow 30 to 60 minutes individual coaching, depending on the theme with the speaker.
