The MSc Data Analytics for Business
Artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and business analytics techniques are taking an increasingly important place in companies. In all sectors, these techniques allow for the invention of new business models and sources of value creation, and this trend seems to be set to continue. KEDGE will therefore train specialists in these techniques (data scientists, data miners, developers, etc.) from the start of the 2022 academic year with its new MSc Data Analytics for Business programme.
This training is primarily intended for students who have completed a course in management sciences (management school, IAE) and who have a good knowledge of the various business lines and functions. It can also be tailored to people who already have skills in a particular field (chemistry, pharmacy, etc.) and who wish to reorient themselves professionally. The training will allow them to acquire the additional knowledge necessary to play a central role in the development projects of companies, in collaboration with the professions and technical teams.
The aim is to train professionals who can act as intermediaries to establish communication between the different functions of the company and the teams in charge of data processing. At the end of the course, students will be able to understand the data environment, process data, and build bridges between all the company's departments, so that it can create new business models and increase productivity.
Olivier Dupouët, professor in information systems and researcher on knowledge management and organisational learning, will head this new programme taught in Bordeaux.

In an increasingly changing world, the sustainable dimension is becoming a real quest for meaning for organisations. The boundaries between financial, social and environmental objectives and between business and non-business stakeholders are blurring. The MSc Business Transformation for Sustainability aims to develop the professional skills needed to manage these new organisations. Graduates will be prepared to implement sustainable value creation policies in their companies.
Students joining the course will have an in-depth understanding of civil society and government sectors, how NGOs work, and how organisations can engage with them to create value. Participants will also gain the skills to lead change processes in organisations and, more importantly, to drive sustainable transformation at the inter-organisational and ultimately societal level.
Organisations need to recruit people who can see the opportunities and work to create positive social, environmental and economic impacts. The focus on sustainability has significant implications for the labour market, creating an increased demand for dedicated CSR/corporate sustainability positions as well as traditional positions with strong CSR expertise. Specifically, this programme enables graduates to work at the junction between business and non-business organisations and to build multi-sector partnerships for sustainable value creation.
The MSc will be lead by Fiammetta Cascioli, Professor at KEDGE Business School. This new programme will be offered on Paris campus.
