Presentation
The ESD Lab aims to advance Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) as a way to empower stakeholders to build a more sustainable future.
We use a holistic approach to ESD, including education for sustainability at the individual, organizational and systems level.
We explore various themes – including, but not limited to: transformational pedagogy, teaching practices and learning outcomes, business ethics, responsible management education, sustainability literacy, systems thinking and systems change, education for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Methodology and Positioning
The ESD Lab aims to be an interface between research and education by adopting an ecosystem approach.
It promotes research collaborations between members and external stakeholders to produce relevant and impactful research.
Members of the lab work with quantitative as well as qualitative research methods.
The Lab also uses experimentation as a way to connect research in the field of ESD with practices in education and pedagogy.
