What is the Management ?

Management, in its broadest sense, is a set of activities that include forecasting, organisation, execution and control. In a more restricted sense, a manager sets objectives for the members or their team, organises the work and checks the results. The Management department at KEDGE falls under the second category. The lecturers-researchers of the Management department have diverse professional and geographic backgrounds. Their teaching and research are focused on subjects that are central to management, including human resource management, work organisation, leadership, team building, stress, conflict, staff motivation, diversity in the workplace, organisational behaviour, international labour and intercultural management. The Management department's lecturers-researchers are also concerned with international management, art and culture in business, creative industries, complexity and corporate social responsibility.
